Even though I haven’t even been blogging for an entire year, I’ve still posted quite a few recipes and photos and put together this post of all the best of 2013.
The very best post of 2013 was Chocoflan, by a landslide – with good reason, too. A twist on the classic flan, this has a delicious layer of chocolate cake on the bottom, making this a very decadent dessert.
In a close second are the chocolate rolls. Flakey, chocolatey, and delicious, these are a special occasion breakfast must-have.
A bit further behind are the meltaway cookies. Lemony, crunchy, sweet, these are delicious little cookies.
Tied with the meltaways are the apple muffins. Soft muffins with just the right amount of crunchy apples, these make for a great breakfast or even just a healthy snack.
The fifth most popular post this year isn’t a recipe, but my Niagara Falls gifs.
Now, popularity aside, here are my top three favorite recipes of the year:
My apple crumb coffee cake has been by far my favorite coffee cake that I’ve made in a long time. It’s crunchy, sweet, and just a little bit salty.
Next were the pumpkin pancakes. I love making pancakes on weekend mornings, and when I found this recipe it quickly became a family favorite.
Third were the snickerdoodles. They’re simple and quick, yet they pack a delicious cinnamon flavor that everybody seems to love.
As good as these recipes were, even better ones are to come in 2014. Happy New Year everyone!!
