My last post on Niagara Falls contained mostly photos of some of the tourist attractions that I visited, but in this post you’ll find more photos of the nature aspect of my trip.
One of the first things I did when I arrived was go on the Maid of the Mist. It was a boat ride where you could pass by the Falls and feel the mist of the water.
Below is the view from while I was waiting in line. I didn’t actually take photos while on the boat because I didn’t want my fancy dSLR to get ruined. Even though the ride is called Maid of the Mist, we got more of a shower than a mist!
Later, when I went on that ferris wheel (shown in the last post), I was able to get some cool shots of the small skyline.
And this is the view of the Falls from the top of the ferris wheel.
Just along the sidewalk, you can get a great view of the Falls. At night the water is all lit up and is super beautiful!
In the opposite direction of the Falls is the rest of the city. Although there are tons of tourists all day long, most of the shops and restaurants stay open pretty late, so the city remains a lively place.
